How long does setup take?
About 3 minutes. You sign up, add your basic medical info (blood type, allergies, medications, emergency contacts), and your QR code is ready.
Do I need to download an app?
Nope. eMID works in any web browser. The person scanning your QR also doesn't need an app — just their phone's camera.
How It Works
How does scanning work?
Anyone can open their phone's camera (or any QR scanner app), point at your QR code, and the emergency page opens automatically in their browser. No login needed.
What if I don't have internet?
The QR code itself works offline. The emergency page needs internet to load — but in modern hospitals and most cities, this is universal. We're working on offline mode for future versions.
Can my data be translated?
Yes. Travel Mode supports 65+ languages. The emergency page auto-detects the scanner's language or lets them choose manually.
Privacy & Security
Is my medical data safe?
Absolutely. We use 256-bit encryption, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, and never sell or share your data with third parties.
Who can see my emergency page?
Anyone who has your QR code. That's the point — for first responders. But you control what info appears. You can show only blood type and emergency contact, or show everything. Your choice.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, anytime from Settings. All your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Plans & Billing
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades are immediate. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
New subscribers get a 14-day money-back guarantee. After that, refunds are at our discretion.
Is there a family discount?
The Family plan ($14.99/mo) covers up to 10 profiles — about $1.50 per person, much cheaper than individual plans.

How long do bracelets last?
Our silicone bracelets last 2-3 years with daily wear. Steel bracelets carry a lifetime warranty.
Can I change my QR code?
Yes, you can regenerate your QR token anytime. Note: physical products carry the original QR — order new ones if you regenerate.
